These pictures are of Pelican Marina in Elizabeth City. This is a great place, and if the staff can help they will go out of there way to make it happen. If you are coming this way stop in, use my name, they will remember me for a few days anyway. Great place.

On the left is Josh, General Manager
On the right is Mike. Mike knew my boat was a west wright potter as soon as I pulled up to the dock. That doesn’t happen very often.

On the side of the building

Josh and Ryan. Josh is on the docks and available to the live aboards and the transient boaters. They are on top of what is going on.

At the back of the marina office is where the wisdom is located. Got a problem, these gentleman have a answer. Just ask or e-mail them. I heard a someone say they think on Sunday they wear ties.

Josh. Wishing a boater well as he gets ready to leave. Josh also made a point to stop by and wish me well before I left also. That says a lot about a person.

I saw Mike throwing a rope in and out of the water. Had a loop on the end of it like the cowboys in a rodeo. I thought, man he is good never missed the water once. Ok. I know he is fishing.

Tonight I had the pleasure of being invited to have dinner aboard the sailboat Moonshine. Owners Mike/Christie and son Shane. They have a lovely boat a place for everything and very nice. Christie made some noodles/green beans and cheesecake that was so good. Mike cooked pork chops on the grill, everything was so good. I thank them for opening there home to me and sharing that great meal. Wish them the best in the coming years.

This guy thought he was going to scare me off. After the stare down with a big bad hummingbird, we now know who rules the wings world.

Heading up the Alligator River. Had a perfect day today.

This is Alligator Marina. Nice place. 360 scan of marina. No town close. Has nice store with grill for sandwiches all day.

They even have cute critters here at the marina.

This is River Forest Marina in Belhaven SC. Capt. Axson Smith is the owner and has taken care
of me. The video is standing on the dock above boat and doing a 360 scan of the docks and marina.

Not a lot of boats in this marina.

This is the street vehicle boaters use to get around.

They have a swimming pool for our use.

Belhaven NC. Very nice town. Approx. 4 blocks from marina is a restaurant called Gingerbread Bakery. Serve breakfast and lunch. The walk is just right and the food is great. Ed at the marina said you have got to eat at the Fish Hook. Last night I did and it was more than I could eat. Great meal.
Pictures of main street, of cement crabs around town, and of high end golf carts, these are street legal and there are a bunch of them. Nice town.
