I am in Beaufort, SC. Made it thru Georgia. After I crossed the St. John River into Georgia the tides now range from 6 feet to 9 feet twice a day. The currents can be as strong as 4k. This has and still is causing me problems, Sometimes I am going 6 to 7 mph [...]
This is a otter( I think) that was on the dock one evening at Thunderbolt marina in Georgia.
I am at a marina on Jekyll Island, Georgia. The Internet and 3G hookup is bad. Will probably be bad for the next 4 days. Not many marinas available in this area. These islands are a different lifestyle. But restaurant on site.
When in St. Augustine I was able to get with my cousin Sandy and her husband Don. They have a lovely home here. The picture of them is taken at the top of a working lighthouse here in town. Had a great time.
